FACILTY TYPE: 18 HOLE PRIVATE CLUB

Experience Desired: Experience in mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities Include: Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on turf equipment (greens mowers, fairway mowers, rough mowers, rollers, aerifiers, sprayers, topdressers, etc.).
Maintain gas and diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, cutting units, reels/bedknives, and sharpening programs.
Perform routine maintenance on fleet/grounds vehicles (utility carts, UTVs, tractors, trailers) including oil changes, filters, belts, batteries, tires, brakes, and lighting.
Track work orders, maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and equipment hours; maintain clear service records.
Coordinate parts ordering and vendor service; recommend repairs vs. replacement and assist with budgeting.
Support safe shop practices: lockout/tagout as applicable, proper lifting, chemical/fuel storage, and tool/equipment care.
Assist the Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent with seasonal equipment changeovers and setup.
Respond to in-season breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and protect turf quality.

Compensation: $25.00-$30.00/hour DOE
