    Job Duties:  Must be knowledgeable with the proper care and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers and rough and the daily maintenance requirements of the golf course. Must be familiar with the use and application of pesticides when properly licensed.  Applicant must have or be able to acquire the appropriate pesticide licensing required.  The proper care and use of equipment on the golf course. The proper care and use of fertilizers applications.  The planting of trees and shrubs.

    Must be able to troubleshoot and repair golf course irrigation which includes but is not limited to: heads, valves, pumps, wiring, lateral and main water lines. Must be familiar with the proper supervision and operation of centralized irrigation computer systems.

    A working knowledge of computer operation with experience in Word and Excel would be helpful but not required.

    Ability to work independently of the Golf Course Supervisor and supervise the work of others. Effectively sequence work tasks and distribute tasks among co-workers. Keep records and make reports. Order materials and equipment needed.

    Under general directions, to serve as a working supervisor of golf course maintenance personnel. This is a first line supervisory position assigned to the golf course and reports to the Golf Course Superintendent, General Manager & Owners.

    Establish and maintain open and honest communications with co-workers at all levels of organization. Follow oral and written directions and instructions. Exhibit a high customer service priority. Maintain the golf course to satisfy the ever-increasing demands of customers.

    Safely transport, lift and handle objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.

    Compensation:  This position has both seasonal and non-seasonal options. Compensation and benefits will depend on experience and final position option.

    Brief Description:  Performs golf course maintenance, other skilled landscape and building maintenance tasks, and semi-skilled labor to maintain the golf course, facilities, cart paths and structures, including general care and upkeep; operates motorized equipment and irrigation systems, and does related work, as required. This position will work under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent, General Manager & Owners.

    Job Duties:  Maintains golf course by completing daily assigned tasks; assists with maintaining and operating the irrigation system; cares for the putting greens and tees by watering, reseeding, manicuring, spiking, topdressing and mowing using specialized equipment; cares for sand bunkers, fairways, and roughs by raking, watering, edging, spiking, aerifying, weeding and manicuring; cares for grounds around golf course facilities and structures; performs minor tree trimming

    Should have working knowledge of golf course equipment and repair, i.e. mowers, golf cars, maintenance vehicles and landscaping equipment.

    Will be expected to monitor the irrigation system for problems.

    Maintains, cleans and performs light maintenance to golf course facilities including clubhouse, maintenance building, storage facilities, and other campus venues.

Create and direct long-range garden and landscape design, soil preparation, planting, fertilization, pruning, transplanting, irrigation management, and pest control. This is a year-round position Monday-Friday with some possible weekend work

    Position/Title: Equipment/Shop Mechanic (This position is year around and would be full-time OR part-time with flexible hours if needed).

    Facility: Private 9-hole.

    Experience: Previous employment in similar position.

    Duties:   Individual must be able to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to all the golf course equipment including small engines, mowers, vehicles and tractors. Mechanic is responsible for reel and bed knife grinding, ensuring a good quality sharpness of units. Maintain log records of repairs, parts and inventory for needed preventative maintenance schedules. Some duties could include helping staff with course maintenance when needed.

    Skills: Ability to work with and train staff on the proper use of equipment in a respectful way.

    Compensation and Benefits: D.O.E. $25-28/HR, 80% paid health plan if needed, paid vacation and sick days, paid related education seminars and local conferences, and clothing allowance.
