    Duties Description:
    •To aid the Equipment Manager in all the daily operations of equipment maintenance and repair.
    •Assists on golf course with rolling, mowing, set up and other tasks as required usually until mid-morning
    •Perform routine preventative maintenance of all equipment
    •Keep accurate and thorough records of all maintenance and repairs performed
    •Hydraulic system inspections
    •Reel grinding
    •Ordering and inventory of parts, fuels and oils
    •Engine maintenance
    •Daily adjustment of mowers
    •Monitors above ground fuel tanks and pumps 
    •Monitors oil levels and grease all daily use machinery
    •Sharpen rotary blades
    •Check all small trailers for damage and repairs as needed 
    •In season:
    O Keep all turf equipment properly adjusted and serviced to provide the best possible machinery for staff to carry out work. 
    O Assist the grounds staff on the golf course with daily tasks when needed.    
    O Service all equipment (fluid changes, reel grinding, height adjustments, etc.) in preparation for the upcoming season. 
    O Keep current equipment running efficiently and fix any problems that may arise. 
    O Oversee and train maintenance being performed by other staff members.

    Compensation / Benefits: TBD based on experience 

    Education Level Required:
    •High School Diploma and a desire for continuing education
    •Basic mechanical skills
    •A desire to learn the trade and work well as a team member

    Special Skills: Must obtain hoisting license in 3 months, Will  be required to obtain pesticide applicators license.     Duties Description: SNCC is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic to maintain and oversee our fleet of golf course equipment and other mechanical systems on property. The Equipment Tech/Mechanic responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    Must be able to repair and maintain of all equipment and vehicles associated with daily operations at Sterling National
    Must be able to assist with general repairs and upkeep of all other mechanical systems including clubhouse, pool, wells & irrigation pumps
    Must be willing to assist with snow removal during the winter

    Experience Desired: At least 3 years experience as golf course mechanic or related field

    Duties Description:  Golf Club of New England is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to oversee and maintain a broad spectrum of turf care equipment.
    The equipment manager/mechanic will be responsible for a fleet of John Deere greens, tees, fairway and rough mowers.  John Deere tractors, gators and aerifiers.  Club Car carts (member carts and utility carts), as well as many other small pieces of Stihl and Honda equipment.
    The equipment tech must possess good organizational and record keeping skills.
    Must be able to perform moderate physical labor.
    Must be able to communicate with superintendent and assistant superintendent on a daily basis.
    Must be responsible for ordering parts and keeping track of inventory.
    Proficiency in Express Dual 3000 and Angle Master 3000 grinding is preferred.
    Has an understanding of reel grinding and mower setup and the effect on course conditions
    Has the ability to establish preventative maintenance programs
    Shop organization skills
    Understanding of golf course equipment electronics and hydraulics
    Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize
    All other job related skills such as welding, fabricating, electrical will be taken into consideration
