    Facility Description: Pine Brook Country Club is a private club in Weston located about 15 minutes from Boston. Originally built in 1924 by Wayne Stiles with updated changes by Ron Forse. The club is halfway through a master plan with the goal to finish in the next couple of years.

    Facility Description: Milton Hoosic Club is a 9-hole private golf club located in Canton, MA, and considered to be one of the best in the Boston area. Famed professional golfer and golf course architect Willie Park Jr. was engaged by the club in 1916 to redesign what was a very informal layout developed in 1897. The Club was elected into the USGA in 1897 and to the Massachusetts Golf Association in 1903, making it one of the original 48 clubs and a charter member. The club also features a swimming pool and two clay tennis courts. The club is currently in the midst of executing a long range master plan that includes extensive tree removal, tee and bunker renovations, drainage, as well as a major clubhouse renovation.

    Experience Desired: This is a great position/opportunity for a candidate with prior golf course maintenance experience who is serious about building their career towards becoming a golf course superintendent. Irrigation troubleshooting and repair, mechanics, and pesticide/fertilizer application experience is a plus. A greater emphasis is put on intangibles such as a positive attitude, leadership and team building ability, a willingness to grow and learn as a turf and club professional, strong work ethic, is coachable, dependable, accountable, and above all loves the game of golf, and all aspects of the game.

    Duties Description: The First Assistant Superintendent will work with the Superintendent and greenkeeping team to provide exceptional playing conditions on a daily basis in a fun and relaxed environment. Prominent duties include pesticide and fertilizer applications, irrigation troubleshooting/repair and scheduling, golf course setup, hand watering, snow removal, as well as project and crew management, and routine golf course maintenance practices such as mowing, topdressing, etc.

    Special Skills: Valid Driver’s License and must possess or attain MA Pesticide Applicators License within 60 days of hire.

    Duties Description: This is a position for an assistant golf superintendent to assist two current Bretwood superintendents (one Bretwood North and one Bretwood South) in all golf course maintenance operations.Those two superintendents work under a head superintendent.  

    Main responsibilities include:   1) Fertilizer and pesticide applications.          
    2) Operation of Rainbird irrigation system .  3) Reel and bedknife maintenance.

    Duties Description: Founded in 1899, Franklin Country Club is an 18 hole private country club and pool facility with 350 members. We host approximately 20,000 annual rounds and recently opened one of the northeast region's premier practice facilities. FCC is home to several of the Northeast region's top amateur players. With a highly active and demanding membership, the greens department strives to provide tournament conditions on a consistent basis.     The second assistant golf course superintendent reports directly to the senior assistant course superintendent.
