Title:  Equipment/Shop Mechanic (This position is year-round and could be full-time or part-time with flexible hours if needed)

Facility: Private 9-hole

Experience: Previous employment in similar position

Duties: Individual must be able to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to all the golf course equipment including small engines, mowers, vehicles and tractors. Mechanic is responsible for reel and bed knife grinding, ensuring a good quality sharpness of units. Maintain log records of repairs, parts and inventory for needed preventative maintenance schedules. Some duties could include helping staff with course maintenance when needed.

Skills:  Ability to work with and train staff the proper use of equipment in a respectful way.

Compensation/Benefits: D.O.E. $25.00 - 27.00+/HR, DOE, 80% PAID health plan if needed, paid vacation and sick days, paid related education seminars and local conferences, and clothing allowance.

Education: High School Diploma/GED
