Irrigation Technician - Blue Rock Golf Course, South Yarmouth, MA

Blue Rock Golf Course is a championship Par-3 golf course designed by Geoffrey Cornish located on Cape Cod. The course is owned and operated by The Davenport Companies, a fourth-generation, family-owned business which has been in business for over fifty years and owns and operates more than a dozen companies throughout New England. Blue Rock Golf Course has been recognized as a Top Par-3 in the country by Golf Magazine and Sports Illustrated and was voted Best Mid-Cape Golf Course by the readers of Cape Cod Life Magazine.

Job Summary

The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the golf course’s irrigation system as well as performing other golf course maintenance tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will be a team orientated individual who has a positive attitude and can work both independently and with other members on a small crew. Must be willing to work in other areas of The Davenport Companies as needed.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year golf or landscape irrigation experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license
