Facility Name:        Framingham Country Club

Facility Location:   16 Gates Street, Framingham, MA

Position / Title:       Equipment Manager

Facility Description: Private, 18-hole Country Club located outside Boston

Experience Desired: Previous golf course experience preferred.

  • Experience with grinding reels, bed knives and cutting unit setup
  • Experience with welding and metal fabrication
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting

Special Skills:

  • The ability to oversee and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.
  • The ability to work within the club’s approved repair and maintenance budget.
  • Works with Superintendent on future capital requests.
  • Must be a team player who works well with the grounds staff and other club employees.
  • Must be able to foster good working relationships with club vendors.
  • Keeps records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment.
  • Places order for parts and supplies needed for equipment maintenance and service.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and overtime when the job requires it.
  • The equipment manager is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean service area.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation / Benefits: 

  • $30 to 35 per hour with overtime paid at time and one half.
  • As presented within the FCC employee manual: 401K, paid vacation, personal days and designated holidays, health and dental insurance.
  • Club provided lunch, laundered uniforms, dues to local associations and continuing education.

Education Level Required: Minimum high school diploma.  Technical training with hydraulics, diesel, and small engine repair.
