94 Main Street, Wenham MA, 01982

Assistant Superintendent

Facility Description:
The Wenham Country Club is an old club with roots over 100 years old. Founded and owned by the Tarr family since 1899, the club is one of the oldest clubs on the north shore of Massachusetts. As a semi private club, we are always busy and enjoy an extensive tournament and outing schedule. With its long history, we strive to be the best and provide the best conditions and experience for anyone who plays and enjoys the game.

Over the past 100 years the course has been continuously updated and changed, starting with 9 holes in 1899 and the addition of 9 more in 1924. The greens at the time were constructed as native soil push up greens. Today there are a mix of several USGA spec greens and the original native soil greens. Each of the 18 holes are tight and challenging with 2.5 acres of POA/Bent greens, 1 acre of tees, and 13 acres of fairways.

As a family owned and operated club, Wenham CC also recognizes that a good life balance is essential for our team members, and a schedule that reflects this will be made in co operation with the team and leadership.
