Position / Title:          Assistant Superintendent

Facility Description: Kernwood Country Club is a private club located in historic Salem Massachusetts. The course was built in 1914 and is a Donald Ross design that is located on the Danvers River.  The club has completed a bunker project in the fall of 2020 and will be starting a forward tee project and re-leveling tees in 2023.

Experienced 16-person crew with 140 years combined service to Kernwood. I’m the 4th superintendent since 1914 and have been on site since 2004. We take a tremendous amount of pride maintaining and improving the golf course every year. Looking for hard working and responsible person who is looking to learn and grow with the team.

Experience Desired: 2 years working on golf course and spraying experience

Duties Description:
• Pesticide and fertilizer application. Record keeping involved with applications.        Irrigation assessment and repair. Crew training. Hand watering and managing        small crews

Special Skills:
• Drivers license
• Possess or have the ability to obtain a Massachusetts Pesticide Applicators 
  License within 90 days.

Compensation / Benefits:

• $65-75,000 salary
