Position / Title:​            Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Facility Description:​ Wentworth By The Sea Country Club is an 18-hole private golf course located on the Seacoast of New Hampshire. The club was established in 1897 and the current layout was designed by a combination of Donald Ross, Geoffery Cornish and most recently Brian Silva. In addition to golf, the club has a 36,000 sq ft sports complex, outdoor tennis and paddle ball, wedding and event center and swimming pool.

Experience Desired:​ 1-3 years of experience in a management role

Duties Description:

● Staff Management and leadership

● Fertilizer and chemical applications

● Hand watering and irrigation troubleshooting

● Insect and disease monitoring

● Equipment maintenance

● Knowledge of all aspects of golf course management

Special Skills:​ The candidate must have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and be able to work in a team environment. The candidate must obtain their NH pesticide license within 60 days of employment.

Compensation / Benefits: ​$50,000 and up DOE, golf, meals, 100% paid individual health, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, long and short-term disability, FSA, paid vacation and holidays.

Education Level Required:​ Turfgass management degree or certificate preferred, but not required.
