    White Cliff’s Country Club is an 18-hole Par 62 golf course located on Cape Cod Bay.  The Club was re built in 1986 and consists of poa/bent greens and fairways, and bent grass tees. WCC is surrounded by an award-winning condominium complex, and offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate.  In 2005, the club installed a 1.2 million dollar Rain Bird irrigation system, and in 2014 completed a new environmental center and maintenance facility.     


    The applicant will be responsible for assisting in the day to day operation, all cultural management, course record keeping, and participate in training and supervising a staff of up to 20.  He/She will directly assist in the implementation of chemical and fertilizer schedules and applications; irrigation repairs and scheduling; and snow removal duties. 


     A.S. in agronomy/horticulture/plant/soil science, and 2- 4 year's golf course experience related management experience is desirable.     Facility Description: The Country Club is a multi-functional facility located just outside the city of Boston. Available to the Clubs members are 27 holes of championship golf, indoor and outdoor tennis, paddle tennis, swimming and diving, skeet shooting, curling, cross country skiing, and ice skating. The Club is most notably known for the story of Francis Ouimet when he became the only amateur to win the U.S. Open in 1913 as well as the 1999 Ryder Cup when the United States mounted its historic come back. In June of 2022 the Club will be the site of the U.S. Open Championship. As we prepare for the U.S.Open we will be working closely with Gil Hanse on course wide enhancements. The selected candidate will be involved in all facets of golf course maintenance including in house construction projects. The ideal candidate must be a team player and work closely with all grounds staff. The recipient can expect to work between 45-55 hours a week during the summer months. Throughout the winter months the selected candidate will gain experience in turf equipment maintenance and will help assist in snow removal.
